Google 周五宣布向部分 Gmail 用戶提供端對端加密——Google 稱其為 Gmail CSE。一旦啟用，郵件主體、附件和內(nèi)嵌圖像都將在傳輸和儲存在網(wǎng)盤前由客戶端的瀏覽器進(jìn)行加密，Google 服務(wù)器將無法獲得加密密鑰，因此也無法對其進(jìn)行解密。郵件的標(biāo)題、時間戳和收件人名單不加密。目前該功能提供給 Google Workspace Enterprise Plus、Education Plus 或 Education Standard 客戶，他們都可以申請 Gmail CSE beta。該功能暫時不會提供給普通用戶。
